Your school can help to provide food to malnourished children

We’re calling on Australian children of all ages to get involved in Lunch Money for Refugees

When your students bring their lunch from home and donate their lunch money or a gold coin to Australia for UNHCR, they’ll be making a real difference to the lives of refugee children in need.

We’d love your school to help us!

Once you’ve registered, we’ll send you:

  • Talking points and lesson plan guides about refugees
  • Downloadable posters you can place around your school
  • Stickers for every student who makes a donation
  • Donation boxes to collect funds on the day
  • A pack of MUAC (mid upper arm circumference) malnutrition bands used by UNHCR and its partners to determine malnutrition to show and discuss with your students
  • Suggested content for your school newsletter or website about Lunch Money for Refugees
  • A media release template to spread the word to your local media about your school’s participation

Register your school on the form below and let's get started!

Here is a video for you to show your classes to help students learn more about why delivering emergency food aid to refugee children is so important:

Every child who gets involved becomes a Lunch Money for Refugees legend - and a sticker to say so!
